What is the AI fruit drama trend?

AI fruit dramas are short soap operas starring fruits with faces. A strawberry catches her boyfriend with a lemon, a banana hides a baby, a grape plans revenge at the wedding. Every clip is a few seconds of over-the-top betrayal, usually ending on a cliffhanger with "part 2" in the caption.

The format exploded in March 2026 with Fruit Love Island, an AI-generated parody of Love Island that passed 300 million views in its two-week run. Since then thousands of accounts post fruit dramas every day, and searches like "ai fruit drama" and "ai fruit stories" keep growing.

Why fruit dramas go viral

Characters read in half a second

A red strawberry and a green lemon need no introduction. Viewers know who is who before the first line, so the story can start immediately.

Familiar plots, absurd cast

Cheating, secret babies and wedding fights are the oldest drama beats there are. Played by fruit, they become funny instead of heavy, and people share them.

Cliffhangers build series

Most fruit dramas stop at the worst possible moment. Viewers follow the account for part 2, which is why fruit drama accounts grow so fast.

How to make one with Felo

  1. 1

    Pick your twist

Keep the original idea or write your own — new characters, a new object, a new setting.

  2. 2

    Check the plan

Felo breaks down the viral original and shows you the new storyboard and first frames before anything is generated.

  3. 3

    Generate and post

One click turns the plan into a 9:16 video with the same hook, cuts and pacing. Download it and post.

Tips for a fruit drama that gets watched

  • One conflict per video. Betrayal, reveal, reaction — then stop.
  • Give each character one clear color and one trait (the jealous lemon, the innocent peach).
  • Show the shocking moment in the first two seconds, explain it after.
  • End on a question and post part 2 the next day.
  • Label the video as AI-generated when you post it.

FAQ

How do I make an AI fruit drama video?

Click "Make my version" on this page. Felo breaks down a viral fruit drama — its hook, shots and pacing — writes a new storyboard, shows you the first frames, then generates the video. You can add your own twist, like vegetables instead of fruits.

Is it free?

Your first remake is free. After that, generating a video costs credits based on the number of shots; you always see the price and a preview before you pay.

Do I need to film or draw anything?

No. Every shot is generated by AI. You only choose the idea.

Will my video be a copy of the original?

No. Felo keeps the structure — the hook, the order of beats and the pacing — and generates new characters, scenes and shots. Nothing from the original video is reused.

How long does it take?

Usually about 15 minutes. You can close the page and find the video later under "My remakes".
