Read ~/Documents/q3-plan.md, check every figure in it, and list the ones that are out of date with the current source. What comes backA line-by-line list of what changed, so you can edit the document rather than rewriting it.
QoderWork already reads and edits the local document, which is the half that most assistants cannot do. Felo Search supplies the other half: what the source says today, with the date attached, so the file you hand over is current rather than merely well written.

and put it in ~/.qoderwork/skills/, then confirm the skill is loaded.QoderWork runs on your machine and edits local docx and pptx files. A Felo skill supplies the half a local file cannot: current sources, transcripts, and assets that land beside your document.
A local document is a closed world: it cannot tell you that the number it quotes was revised. The claim list is what reopens it, one dated source per figure, with the unverified ones kept visibly separate.
Ask for the update as a list against the existing document, not as a new report. You want to know which lines changed, not to re-read the whole thing.
There is no package manager and no build step in this route — the request is the interface. The app fetches the repository, copies the folder into its own skills directory, and picks it up from there.

Cloned Felo-Inc/felo-skills, copied felo-search into ~/.qoderwork/skills/felo-search, and read its SKILL.md. The skill is loaded and will match requests that need current information with sources.
Install the Felo CLI on this machine and set my API key, then confirm a search works before I use the skill on a document.
~/.qoderwork/skills/felo-search/The bundle as cloned. It is plain Markdown, so you can open SKILL.md and read exactly what it will do before you rely on it.~/.qoderwork/skills/The root it matches from. QoderWork picks a skill by its description, so a short list makes the matching predictable rather than clever.Which skills are installed for this task, and which one did you use for the last answer? The document is the deliverable. Both of these treat it that way, and both leave the original structure intact.

Update the market section with current figures and add a source list at the end. Leave the rest of the file untouched. What comes backThe same document with current numbers and dated sources, and the untouched sections still where you left them.
The document has a voice and a structure worth keeping. The routine is about changing the facts and nothing else.
A plan, a proposal, or a report is written and reviewed, and the figures in it are older than the last review cycle.
Give the path and ask for a check against it. A topic request produces a new report; a path produces an edit to the one you have.
Have it list which lines changed and why. Rewriting a reviewed document throws away decisions that took a meeting to make.
A list at the end of the document is what lets the next reader check a figure without asking you. It also dates the version at a glance.
Drafts and unpublished revisions belong in the document as "to confirm", not silently smoothed into the text as fact.
Leaves behindThe same document with current, sourced figures, a source list at the end, and an explicit note about anything that could not be verified.
The advantage of a desktop assistant is that everything here is inspectable on your own machine.
Open ~/.qoderwork/skills/felo-search/ and read SKILL.md. It should describe the job you installed it for, in plain language.
Ask something recent and look for publication times. A fluent answer with no dates means the skill was not the thing that answered.
Compare the document structure before and after. A refresh that reorganises your sections is doing more than you asked for.
Working on your own files is the strength here, and it comes with two housekeeping questions worth settling first.
The skill calls the Felo CLI, so the credential sits in your user config rather than in the document. That is safer than an inline key, and still worth knowing where it is.
A dated page is strong; an unpublished draft is a lead. The difference is preserved in the list, which is the point of asking for dates.
A long list makes the matching less predictable. Install what the current document needs, and remove what you stopped using.
